Gallery Drive Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Gallery Drive Android app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

1. What the app does

The app shows the photos, videos and other media on your phone, uploads the files you choose to your own Google Drive account, and helps you find files you may want to delete from your phone (for example files already on Drive, duplicates, similar or blurry photos, screenshots and large videos). The app does not run its own server; your files go directly between your phone and Google Drive.

3. Deleting files

The app only deletes files from your phone when you ask it to (or when you turn on a setting that does so after a backup). Deleted media goes to your phone's Trash where Android supports it, and can usually be restored for about 30 days; after that it is gone. Suggestions such as "duplicate", "similar" or "blurry" are made automatically and can be wrong, so please review them before removing anything.

3a. Gallery Drive Pro and ads

Backing up is free. The free version shows ads. Gallery Drive Pro is an optional yearly subscription sold through Google Play that removes ads and unlocks unlimited Free up clean-ups and automatic deletion after backup. The price is shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy. The subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel; you can cancel at any time in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Features included in Pro may change over time, but anything you have paid for stays available until the end of your current period.

4. Third-party services

Google Drive, Google sign-in, Google Play billing, Google AdMob and Android are provided by Google and your phone's maker, under their own terms. Gallery Drive is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Google. We are not responsible for outages, limits, account suspensions, data loss or changes in those services.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Uploads can fail or be delayed because of network, battery, storage, account or phone limits.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Miblio and its developers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. This includes loss or corruption of photos, videos or other data, deleted files, unauthorised access to your Google account or phone, data or storage charges, and any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid us for Gallery Drive Pro in the 12 months before the claim (or nothing, if you use the free version). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be waived.

7. Changes and ending use

We may update the app or these terms. Updated terms are posted on this page with a new date; continuing to use the app means you accept them. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and removing its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under the consumer laws of your own country.
